De acordo
com a Kia, o Soul elétrico teve a aerodinâmica melhorada, justamente para
preservar o consumo e desempenho. Além do reajuste aerodinâmico o modelo será
equipado com o motor totalmente elétrico capaz de percorrer até 200 km com
uma unica recarga.

Este é o Tesla
Model S, o sedã elétrico americano que está mexendo com a cabeça do
norueguês. Foram 616 unidades, superando até o líder Golf, que emplacou 561
exemplares.

A Nissan
planeja com os veículos autônomos chegar ao patamar de zero mortes em
acidentes que envolvam automóveis. Os carros com a tecnologia levam câmeras
que monitoram todo o entorno do veículo analisando riscos e até avisando o
motorista ou tomando controle em caso de iminência de acidente.

E não foi
apenas o recorde de autonomia que o e-Genius bateu: ele superou de longe os
aviões com motores a combustão ou turbinas em termos de eficiência
energética. Em comparação com aviões comuns de dois lugares, voando à mesma
velocidade, o e-Genius completa os percursos gastando apenas um quinto da
energia.

O ELR
permitirá à GM competir mais diretamente com o Model S, da Tesla, e um dos
mais vendidos no mundo. O modelo quatro portas do Model S tem preço mínimo de
US$ 70 mil. Equipado com um motor elétrico e outro convencional a combustão
de 1.4 l, O ELR tem autonomia para percorrer cerca de 480 quilômetros com uma
carga de bateria, segundo a fabricante. Apenas no modo elétrico, o veículo
vai até 56 quilômetros.

O
objectivo é que, “em breve”, as cerca de 3.000 unidades COBUS movidas a
diesel que circulam actualmente nos aeroportos de todo o mundo sejam reconvertidas
em unidades eléctricas.

Em cada
reserva, o consumidor depositou US$ 5.000 para segurar o veículo na versão
Base. Se a opção for a Signature, o sinal pula para US$ 40.000! O crossover
familiar ainda possui opções de baterias de 60 kWh ou 85 kWh, cada uma com um
preço diferente. Acredita-se que o modelo deverá custar entre US$ 62.400 e
US$ 95.000.

The
all-electric racing series will zip through ten iconic cities, enlisting some
of the biggest names in racing to give this new contest of speed some
legitimacy. McLaren, Drayson, and Andretti are just a few
of the racing outfits fielding Formula E teams, and they’ll be joined by Jay
Penske’s Dragon Racing, which just announced it is joining the electric racing
series as well.

Notable
notables include the Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S, whose September sales
continued to “shine” compared compared to 2012. On the whole: (i)
All-electric car sales are up to a huge degree - 447.95% (33,617 vs
6,135); (ii) Plug-in hybrid electric car sales are up to a fair degree - 35.86% (32,718
vs 24,082); (iii) Conventional hybrid electric car sales are also up quite

According
to a recent study, as many as 80% could replace their current car with
another new EV. 350 drivers were given EVs as part of this study, which began
in 2008, in a bid to understand people’s perceptions about EVs and the
nation’s fledgling EV infrastructure.

That
boost comes in the form of a $2,010 price cut off the cheapest Prius Plug-In
model, dropping the MSRP to $29,990, as well as being eligible for a $2,500
Federal tax credit, dropping the effective price to $27,490. The top-trim
Prius Plug-In Advanced, meanwhile, gets a $4,600 price cut, bringing the MSRP
down to $34,905; with the $2,500 tax credit the price drops to $32,405.

Or at the
very least, 56% of the 998 people Hankook tires interviewed for their annual
Fall Gauge Index study, which asks people to answer a series of questions
regarding the auto industry. While Hankook also slipped in something about
their innovative airless tires, the fact that more than half of Americans see
a future where hybrid or electric cars dominate the market is quite telling.
